Mouse in 7-10 hours? Crazy! Get the tablet, It will help you make even better paintings.
Anyways, the rain could be improved a bit. At first I haven't even noticed it. It could be due to the structure of the rainfall droplets. Not quite sure. Try to place some wet spots on his legs and perhaps few splashes on his head and forehead. The lighting and the mood is great.

The colors, especially the skin tones, are very well done. My only critique is that his skin and hair look dry, despite the rain.
